Speech Therapy

Through Daily Learning & Community Connection

Offers language activities, communication and speech activities and cognitive activities to assist the individual in obtaining the e highest level of functional performance.

What Is Speech Therapy?

Speech Therapy focuses on improving the ability to communicate effectively and safely. For individuals with acquired brain injuries, this may include rebuilding speaking skills, enhancing understanding and memory, and improving social communication. It also addresses swallowing difficulties and other related cognitive-communication challenges.

Our licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) tailor each therapy plan to the individual's needs and goals, helping every client reach their highest level of functional performance.

What We Offer

Speech Therapy focuses on communication, cognition, and daily living.

Language Rehabilitation

We help individuals strengthen their ability to understand and use language — both spoken and written. This includes vocabulary development, sentence formation, reading comprehension, and expressive communication.

Speech & Verbal Expression

This includes working on articulation, fluency, voice modulation, and pronunciation. Our therapists help clients speak clearly, confidently, and effectively in both personal and social settings.

Cognitive-Communication Skills

These activities support higher-level thinking and communication skills such as memory, attention, reasoning, and problem-solving — essential tools for everyday decision-making and interaction.

Swallowing & Feeding Support (Dysphagia Therapy)

For individuals experiencing difficulty swallowing, we provide evaluation and therapy to ensure safety during eating and drinking, reducing the risk of choking or aspiration.
